Voltage sensitive/sensing, self switching intelligent, 12 volt, 140 amp split charge relay kit. Suitable for 4 x 4's, day vans, campers, motorhomes and boats with leisure/auxiliary batteries up to 220 Amp/Ah. Beware of other split charge relays which may not be suitable for later vehicles with intelligent alternators, canbus or multiplex wiring systems! Allows charging of auxiliary/leisure battery bank without discharging starter battery. Isolates the starter battery when the engine is off to avoid discharging so that you will always be able to start your vehicle. Relay charge light illuminates when in operation. Simple to fit (only requires wiring from one battery to the other). Suitable for all types of leisure vehicle as well as agricultural and marine applications. 140 amps suitable for leisure batteries up from 75 Amp (AH) to 220 Amp (AH). Relay dimensions (mm) - 65 x 65 x 55.

Only 3 connections to make +pos starter battery --- +pos leisure battery --- 1 earth connection - SIMPLES! Easily fixed in position with supplied mounting screws. Voltage sensing split charge relays are is easy to fit and require no connection to the vehicle alternator or other electrics. The relays sense when the starter battery is at full charge and then switch to charge the leisure battery. Simply wire the relay from your starter battery to your leisure battery.

Using any other type of relay may result in electrical malfunction especially on later vehicles. Any wiring/cable kits supplied by us are for typical camping use only. If you plan to run heavy equipment such as high power winches, inverters or amplifiers etc.
