The battery management system will cut off the current output to protect the battery from overcharges, overdischarges, overloads, abnormal temperatures and short circuits, which can improve the performance of battery. There are two charging ways usually: charger and solar panel. It is best to use a suitable charger with a final charging voltage of 14.4V to 14.6V to charge it.Although BMS can protect the battery from overcharging, it needs to absorb and burn electricty by itself. If the charging voltage exceeds 14.6V for along time, it will damage the BMS. It is very demanding for all the LiFePO4 batteries on the market to be connected in series or parallel. It needs to make sure the voltage of every battery is almost the same under the condition of which the functions of the batteries are all standardly normal.
